What is sun burn? What causes sun burn?

Sunburn is the result of over exposure to sun light or artificial light sources that carries harmful ultra-voilent light thats invisible to the human eye, which causes the skin layers to burn and killing the skin cells. It can even lead to skin cancer, which may not show up as black misshapen spots months or years later. Therefore it is vital not to spend to long in direct sunlight and always using proper skin protection while sunbathing or even from routine sun exposure.
Everyone, even dark skinned persons, are at risk for sunburn. Skin redness like rash being painful to touch, with possible swelling, and even blistering hours or days later followed by peeling of the skin usually several days later. The pain of sunburn is usually greatest between 6 and 48 hours after exposure.
